Turn on the global monitoring mode

In this topic, you will learn how to turn on the global monitoring mode, which will cause all newly connecting NAS devices to be set to monitoring mode.

Note: The global monitoring mode does not affect NAS devices that are already listed on the Devices screen. You need to either delete the NAS devices so they reconnect in monitoring mode or manually switch selected existing NAS devices to monitoring mode.

In the Cloud portal top menu, click on the Settings option.
In the right-hand side pane, find and click on the CLEAR GENERAL SETTINGS heading.

More options appear under the CLEAR GENERAL SETTINGS heading and description.
Scroll down to the ACCESS CONTROL MODE section and click on the Edit link in this section.
Turn on the Monitoring only option to turn on the global monitoring mode and click on the Save button to save your changes.
