Wi-Fi employee access – WatchGuard Firebox

In this topic, you will learn how to configure the WatchGuard Firebox wireless controller to work together with Portnox™ Cloud and 802.1X RADIUS authentication for Wi-Fi connections.

  1. In the Fireware Web UI, navigate to Network > Gateway Wireless Controller > SSIDs and add a new SSID or edit an existing one.
  2. In the Security tab:

    1. In the Security Mode field, select WPA/WPA2 Enterprise.
    2. In the RADIUS Server, RADIUS Port, and RADIUS Secret fields, enter your cloud RADIUS details for authentication.
    3. Activate Enable RADIUS Accounting.
    4. In the RADIUS Accounting Server, RADIUS Accounting Port, and RADIUS Accounting Secret fields, enter your cloud RADIUS details for accounting.
      Note: The server IP and the secret are the same for both authentication and accounting, only ports are different.
